Team Rynkeby expands with five new teams
1,900 cyclists are expected to set course for Paris with Team Rynkeby next summer. Team Rynkeby Foundation is expanding the Nordic region's largest charity cycling team with five new local teams.
Interest in cycling to Paris with Team Rynkeby is steadily increasing in the Nordic countries. That's why Team Rynkeby Foundation is now expanding its well-known charity cycling team with five new local teams after the summer vacation.
Team Rynkeby Foundation thereby expects 1,900 cyclists and 450 assistants in 49 local teams from six countries to go to Paris with Team Rynkeby in July (week no. 27) next summer.
The five new teams are divided into three new teams in Sweden, one in Norway and one in Finland.
"Awareness of Team Rynkeby continues to rise in the Nordic region, and that means increased interest in being part of our project. "Team Rynkeby's focus on establishing a strong social community among a group of people while giving them the opportunity to do something good for themselves while doing something good for others is proving very popular in the spirit of the times. "We are now fully focused on giving these people an experience for life in the coming year," says Carl Erik Dalbøge, Director of Team Rynkeby Foundation.
Large expansion in Sweden
The largest increase in participation is being seen now in Team Rynkeby Foundation in Sweden, helped among other things by the Swedish Children's Cancer Foundation's decision to shut down its own charity cycling team, Ride of Hope, in recognition of Team Rynkeby's continued growth.
The local Ride of Hope team is therefore being placed under Team Rynkeby in Sweden, so participants can continue their work for the Childhood Cancer Foundation in Team Rynkeby, says Paul Chronqvist-Svensson, Country Manager for Team Rynkeby Sweden.
"It will be an incredibly exciting transformation where we can learn a great deal from each other. "There is no doubt that it will boost our fund-raising work and local presence in Sweden. "But it will naturally also be a big job to establish this many new teams at the same time in one country. "Our main focus now is to ensure a world-class experience for the participants," says Paul Chronqvist-Svensson.
The new Swedish Team Rynkeby teams will be located in Linköping, Kungsbacka and Skaraborg. In addition, a team for Gotland is in development, but the future of the team depends on how many applicants have submitted an application before the deadline on 20 August.
Team Rynkeby cycles to Paris in July (week no. 27) next year. Team Rynkeby consists of 18 Danish teams, 16 Swedish teams, seven Finnish teams, six Norwegian teams, one Faroese team and one Icelandic team – 49 teams in total.

* Team Rynkeby is expanding its name sponsorship in Sweden, Norway and Finland after the summer vacation, as juice brand 'God Morgon' takes over the funding of Team Rynkeby Foundation activities in these countries. All teams in Sweden, Norway and Finland are therefore changing name to 'Team Rynkeby – God Morgon'.
