Team Rynkeby continues undeterred after Rynkeby sales

The charity bike team Team Rynkeby continues undeterred after the announcement today that Arla Foods has sold Rynkeby Foods to German Eckes-Granini.

After months of rumors that Team Rynkeby's main sponsor, the juice manufacturer Rynkeby Foods A / S, stood before an early sale, German Eckes-Granini Group GmbH, specializing in non-alcoholic fruit drinks, informed that the international group buys Rynkeby Foods from the dairy giant Arla Foods amba.

Arla Foods has the past two decades divested subsidiaries not directly linked to dairy production with the aim of focusing its core business - and Rynkeby Foods was in this context the last remaining subsidiary in the Arla group, which are not related to milk.

At Team Rynkeby the work continues towards this summer's trip to Paris after today's news.

- Eckes-Granini has already expressed great respect for what Rynkeby Foods has built up in and around Team Rynkeby. I look forward to meeting the new owners and tell more about our work. But otherwise it is business as usual for us. We continue undeterred our work towards this summer's trip to Paris, as well as preparations for the trip in 2017, says Carl Erik Dalbøge, director of Team Rynkeby Foundation.

- Currently, we focus on ensuring the right framework around the tour end in Paris on July 16, and we also focus on starting new team after the summer, he said.

Team Rynkeby is on the road to Paris from the 9th-16th July 2016. If you would like to be part of Team Rynkeby in 2017, so you must apply here.
