Team Rynkeby live streams tour to Paris

Team Rynkeby is live streaming and live tracking the whole tour to Paris, so you can follow all the way by the minute. See how here.

You can get close to the action when 1,500 riders from Team Rynkeby sit in the saddle and head towards Paris for the benefit of children with cancer.

Team Rynkeby has in cooperation with the juice company Rynkeby Foods, the travel operator Ørslev, the supplier of sportswear Xtreme, the bike manufacturer Bianchi, and the GPS company RedKnows created a live-universe on its website, where the charity cycling team is live streaming and live tracking all 1,300 kilometers of the approximately eight days long bike ride to Paris.

- We know from experience that somewhere between 25,000 and 30,000 people will visit our website every day during the tour to Paris. They come to the website to get the latest news from the tour and follow their family and friends who are involved in the project. With this live-universe we give the faithful followers the chance to get even closer to the action, says Carl Erik Dalbøge, director of the Team Rynkeby Foundation.

Tested by Tv2.dk
The live-streaming is send from a camera mounted on one of Team Rynkeby Ringe’s support cars. The camera is filming from morning to evening, and the signal is transmitted directly onto Team Rynkeby's website, where interested parties can follow the development of the tour.

The technology behind the live streaming is provided by the company Best Broadcast Hire, who also supplied the setup to Tv2.dk, who live-streamed Team Rynkeby’s tour to Paris two years ago.

Follow the teams on live map
While the followers on Team Rynkeby's website only get live images from Team Rynkeby Ringe, all teams can, however, be followed via a live map provided by the Swedish GPS-business RedKnows.

All 38 teams are equipped with a RedKnows-tracker, which means that the teams' movement through Europe can be followed minute by minute on Team Rynkeby's website.

Live transmission starts Saturday, July 9, 2016 at. 8:30. There will be transmitted live from Team Rynkeby Ringe every day between 8 and 17 o’clock up to and including arrival at Paris Saturday, 16 July 2016. The live map is already online.
