Team Rynkeby will live broadcast the entire Tour de Paris

Team Rynkeby will live-stream and live-track the entire Tour de Paris on the charity cycling team's website starting Saturday, 8 July 2017.

You can follow the complete Team Rynkeby journey through Europe minute by minute when the charity cycling team rides to Paris from 8 - 15 July 2017.

Team Rynkeby will live broadcast the entire Tour de Paris at www.team-rynkeby.com/LIVE.

The production will broadcast from Team Rynkeby's own news bus that will be following six different teams on six different stages.

The news bus will also be parked on Mur de Huy on Thursday, 13 July 2017, where the charity cycling team will be broadcasting live when a total of 30 Team Rynkeby teams will cross the legendary high hill in Belgium.

The live broadcast will come to a conclusion in Paris on 15 July, where those following on the Team Rynkeby website can watch live as the 1,700 cyclists and 450 service persons cross the finish line around midday.

"We tested viewer interest in live broadcasting last year, and found that the interest was overwhelming. Last year, for the arrival in Paris alone, more than 20,000 visitors stopped by to view our live broadcast," says Carl Erik Dalbøge, Director of the Team Rynkeby Foundation, and continues:

"That's why we've also chosen to upgrade our live broadcast this year. We'll have more cameras and will try to bring viewers closer to the field – among other things, we'll spice up the live broadcast with interviews with the participants on the team. The interviews will be shown several times during the day in the live broadcast," he says.

Visitors can watch or rewatch the morning interviews with the team being followed at 9 AM, 11 AM, 1 PM and 3 PM every day.

Follow teams on the map
In addition to the live broadcast, Team Rynkeby has entered into a sponsorship agreement with the Swedish GPS company RedKnows, which is making its professional live-tracking technology available to Team Rynkeby.

All 44 Team Rynkeby teams have been equipped with a GPS-tracker from RedKnows that allows visitors to www.team-rynkeby.com/LIVE to follow all teams minute-by-minute through Europe using a map on the website.

"It's an incredibly popular feature on our website, which allows participants' friends and family to constantly see where each Team Rynkeby team is located. I think the site will be the browser homepage for many families during the trip to Paris," says Carl Erik Dalbøge.

Team Rynkeby's live universe is sponsored by juice company Rynkeby Foods, travel company Ørslev, clothing supplier Xtreme, translation agency Amesto Translations, GPS company RedKnows and broadcast equipment company Best Broadcast Hire.
